TEMP TO HIRE STAFFING
Need someone to fill a position but not sure if and when you can bring them on permanently? Would you rather "try out" a new employee first before making then a permanent employee? Then you likely want a temp to hire employee. Here is how it works:
It starts out very much like our temporary staffing option. The biggest difference is that you are allowed to make our temp employee a permanent member of your team and convert them to your own payroll. You are certainly welcome to do this at anytime during their assignment, but you are not required to until you are sure the person is a good fit.
However, if a temp employee is hired directly by you or one of your affiliates and the temp has worked less then 640 hours for you there is a "placement fee." The placement fee is based on a simple formula with the cost declining as the employee works more hours for you.
If the employee has worked more then 640 hours there is no placement fee to convert the temp employee. Often our clients refer to this period as a "probationary" period and use it as a way to motivate employees. It also gives you the flexibility to let them go if it just isn't working out.
