AKHIRE, INC. (AKHIRE) EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

AT WILL EMPLOYMENT

These employment documents do not constitute a contract of employment, an offer to enter into a contract of employment, or a promise of specific treatment in specific situations, beyond what is required under Alaska employment law. Employment with AKHIRE is strictly on an at-will basis. At-will employment means that you may terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason that you, in your sole discretion, believe is appropriate. Similarly, AKHIRE can terminate your employment at any time, with or without advance notice, for any reason that AKHIRE, in its sole discretion, believes is appropriate. Neither your direct supervisor nor any AKHIRE officer, can change the “at-will” nature of your employment without the prior written approval of the AKHIRE President.

 

PERSONAL DATA

You will be asked to provide pertinent personal information to AKHIRE at the time of employment. You are required to disclose this information accurately at the time of employment and to notify your immediate AKHIRE supervisor of changes to any of the following: (1) your name: (2) your address and/or telephone number; (3) your number of dependents and (4) any other payroll or work-related information requested by AKHIRE in order to meet employment laws in Alaska and the USA.

 

ABSENCES AND LATENESS

If you must be absent from work you must notify AKHIRE at 907.586.4140 as soon as possible prior to the your scheduled reporting time. If you are a temporary employee on assignment you should also contact your direct supervisor where you are placed to let them know you will be absent or late. You are required to keep AKHIRE regularly informed as to when you will be back to work.

 

WORK WEEKS AND TIME SHEETS

Our work weeks are based on a Monday to Sunday schedule, with our normal paydays taking place every other Friday. Visit our web site at www.akhire.com to learn about our preset pay periods. At the end of EACH work week submit your hours by going to our web site at www.akhire.com. Use the time sheet link at the top of our home page. Your time sheets are due every Monday before noon. Be sure to include the E-mail address of the supervisor you report to at the location you are working. Ask them who your time sheets should go to for review and approval. Our system sends a copy of your hours to you, your supervisor and AKHIRE. We can’t accept time sheets without it also being sent to someone at the location you are working for approval. You can use a printed copy of our online time sheet, a piece of paper, your phone, anything that will work during the week to keep track of your weekly hours, but we do not accept printed, faxed or scanned time sheets, we only accept time sheets that are submitted directly from our web site.

 

PAY METHODS

We do ALL pay by direct deposit every other Friday. In other words, you will get paid every two weeks. We highly recommend using direct deposit into your bank account. If you do not have a bank account for direct deposit you will be paid using a RapidPay debit card system and you will be issued the card prior to your first payday. Your pay card will be mailed to the address provided on your employment documents. 

 

PAY PERIODS, PAY DAYS, PAY STUBS

You can review our pay periods and pay days by visiting our web site at www.akhire.com. You can view your pay stubs anytime, anywhere with an online web site created by Intuit (QuickBooks), the payroll system we use at AKHIRE. It lets you view your pay stubs and other payroll info online. Don’t have a computer? Don’t worry! You can also access info from your mobile device. You will be signed up automatically when you fill out your employment documents. An Email with the link to fill out your documents will be sent to you by Intuit (QuickBooks) as part of your process to get signed up with AKHIRE. 

 

BENEFITS WAIVER FOR ASSIGNED EMPLOYEES

In consideration of my assignment by AKHIRE, INC. with their CLIENTS, you must agree that you are solely an employee of AKHIRE, INC. for benefits plan purposes and that you are  eligible only for such benefits as AKHIRE, INC. may offer to you as its employee. You further must understand and agree that you are not eligible for or entitled to participate in or make any claim upon any benefit plan, policy, or practice offered by AKHIRE’S CLIENTS, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, or successors to any of their direct employees, regardless of the length of your assignment to  an AKHIRE CLIENT by AKHIRE, INC. and regardless of whether you are held to be a common-law employee of CLIENT for any purpose; and therefore, with full knowledge and understanding, you must hereby expressly waive any claim or right that you may have, now or in the future, to such benefits and agree not to make any claim for such benefits. 

 

CONFIDENTIALITY REQUIREMENTS 

As a condition of your assignment by AKHIRE, INC. to our CLIENTS (CLIENT) where you might be placed, you must hereby agree as follows. You will not use, disclose, or in any way reveal or disseminate to unauthorized parties any information you gain through contact with materials or documents that are made available through your assignment at an AKHIRE CLIENT or which you learn about during such assignment. You will not disclose or in any way reveal or disseminate any information pertaining to an AKHIRE CLIENT or its operating methods and procedures that come to your attention as a result of this assignment. Under no circumstances will you remove physical or electronic documents or copies of documents from the premises of an AKHIRE CLIENT. You must understand that you will be responsible for any direct or consequential damages resulting from any violation of this Agreement. The obligations of this Agreement will survive your employment by AKHIRE, INC. 

 

You must agree below* that you have read the information above and understand what is required of you as a result of your employment with AKHIRE or as an assigned employee to an AKHIRE CLIENT. If you don’t understand or agree to these requires please let us know now before you submit this form back to us. If you understand these requirements and agree to these terms please fill out the info below and submit this agreement and information back to us ASAP!
